This is Jeraldine’s first family census. Her parents have been married for two years. In 1940 Jeraldine’s father was working his farm, and her mother had given birth to her brother Floyd who was 2 months old. They were living in Box Elder, Bringham Co, Utah. In the supplemental information we see that Jeraldine’s maternal grandfather was born in Sweden and her grandmother in Utah.

Weldon and Carmena’s first child was a girl named Kitty. She passed away at 3 months old. She was born prematurely with Spina Bifida and passed away from complications of Bronchial Pneumonia.

Jeraldine T. Duncan, 74, of San Tan Valley, AZ, formally of Blackfoot Idaho, Passed away on January 8, 2013, in Gilbert, AZ. Born in Brigham City, Utah, to Floyd and Ardella (Nelson) Turner, Jerry arrived on November 3, 1938. She was the oldest of seven children. Her siblings were Rodger, Rayola, Alina, Edward, Howard, and Lana Turner.
She worked as a Pharmacy Technician at Arnell Drug and Walmart in Blackfoot Idaho until she retired in 1994. Jerry will be remembered as a great fisherman, an avid gardener, and her craft creations. She did what she wanted when she wanted.
Jerry married Weldon D. Hoff in 1958. They were later divorced. Jerry married Larry J. Duncan on May 30, 1978, in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. In addition to Larry, Jerry is survived by her children, Randy (Sandy) Hoff of Blackfoot, ID, Douglas C. Hoff of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Jeannie Mathis of Gilbert, AZ, Chris (Rick) Conklin of Ardmore, OK, and David (Lyda) Hoff of Orting, WA; Stepson Robert J. (Lynette) Duncan of Springfield, ID: 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a stepdaughter, Louann Duncan.
Jeraldine is burried at the Riverside-Thomas Cemetery Blackfoot, Bingham County, Idaho, USA
